As the girl and I were headed to karate tonight we saw this guy on the side of the road near home. He didn't run away, just walked along the side of the car as we drove.

Tonight the wife went to work out, as she usually does on Tuesday evening and I received this. Apparently a momma bear and a cub wanted to watch the humans exercise in the heat.

Roses

I saw this deer eating the neighbors roses. They like to bite the whole flower at once.

Wildlife

One of the many great things about where I live in Southern California is that on any day I can see wildlife walking through the yard or nearby. Occasionally there's the bear or rattlesnake, but most every day there are deer. They like to eat roses, there's usually more than one and they seem to like to watch people as much as people like to watch them.
