40,000 ft

I'm not the first person to take a picture out an airplane window but every shot captures some of God's beautiful creation.
This was my trip back from Seattle.

Bob Hope Airport

My brother used to fly out of the Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena Airport.... It was renamed The Bob Hope Airport at some time. I always think of my brother when I fly.

Top Open

Winter in California with the top open, wind in our hair, blue sky.

Flags

Hapkido is a Korean art that was brought to the United States. One of the men that brought it here was Chong S. Kim, we call him Grand Master.

UVS1

The Universal Virtual Stage was a digital green screen experiment, it seemed like a great idea but unfortunately didn't catch on.

Fountain

A lot of kids and adults play in this fountain. It's fun when the water shoots up at someone's crotch.

Tug-O-War

Rope makes a great toy. Even though he's taller Jerry doesn't have a weight advantage over Lacy.

Mirror

Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.
With collies that's usually OK.

Clown

Clowns at night on the subway just aren't funny.
Kinda scary in a funny way actually.

Happy?

If you're gonna go the extra mile and express your love written in the sky don't go with the discount drunk sky writer.
I think the was supposed to say "HAPPY".

Out on the town

Met a friend for a pint and came across this guy sitting outside thee pub, I presume waiting for someone to buy him a beer.
Missed publishing this last night.

El Royale

I like to pick up Indian food and bring home for the kids, this little motel/hotel is just down the street from Bollywood. I think there must be some old Hollywood stories about the place but even a fresh coat of paint doesn't make it an appealing place to stay.

Some days your truck just ends up facing the wrong way

Lost in a silhouette a truck faces the wrong way on the freeway waiting to get pulled onto a tow truck.
Someone's day is not starting well.

My Own Room

Tito Puente has his own room in a building at work... He doesn't work here.
I wonder if there's a room somewhere with my name on it that I don't know about.

Body Shaping

I've been thinking a lot about the fretted bass and wanted to shave a few ounces off the weight. Not too much because mass=tone+sustain, but it also equals a sore shoulder. Gotta think about ergonomics too. After I see how this works out I may take the fretless back to the shop.
I love the way the woods contrast each other. A little more sanding and we will be ready to re-do the finish.

Sunset at Church

Played guitar at church tonight, when I walked out the sky was beautifully clear, the sun was setting, the moon as a sliver all beyond the palm trees.
