These appeared around work a few months ago replacing all of the orange cones. Apparently the normal orange road cones are too bright for some people.

The boy and I did some landscape maintenance today building a fence around an area of lawn that we had to reseed.

I was out for a walk at lunch today and looked up and saw what looked like a shadow of a flying saucer coming over the facade on London Street. 

Freddie's

When I moved to Southern California a friend from college took me to a dive bar in Pasadena. I remember it being a fun time playing pool and hanging out but Old Town Pasadena was not what it is now, 24 years later. It wasn't a place to really hang out at night. My mom even told me stories of going to Freddie's 35er back in the '60s. Well, times have changed, it's now a hipster hangout.

Birthday Ride

Went for a bike ride for my birthday. On my brothers old bike, it is his birthday too. Went to a place he and I used to ride. It is a beautiful day.

Chicken and Waffles

For my birthday lunch some friends at work took me to Roscoe's

The Dutch Oven has at least two meanings. For the Boy Scouts it means something tasty is cooking.

Out my window in Seattle last week was an old building with a fire escape.

It's now a parking structure, I wonder what was there long ago.

Black Belts

Black Belt test today at Champions Hapkido. There were 3 ladies that did an amazing job demonstrating skill, art, determination and confidence.

One first degree and two 2nd degree.
