Yellow Brakes

Usually when I see a Porsche the brake calipers are red. Today I saw yellow.

He Planned To Expand

A friend of mine wrote a song called "He Planned To Expand", I don't think he meant it for kids getting braces. I took my boy to get started on braces today. Step one is expanding the upper pallet and just like I had he gets a little gear that has to be turned every day.

Wildlife

Tonight the wife went to work out, as she usually does on Tuesday evening and I received this. Apparently a momma bear and a cub wanted to watch the humans exercise in the heat.

Clouds and Rain

It was cloudy today, rain a bit in the morning. They had flooding out in the desert. We really just had heart and humidity, but it made for a good picture of one entrance to work.

Sunset

Tonight it seems a lot of people I know saw and commented I the sunset. Not just here in Southern California but up north in Vancouver BC and east in Las Vegas. It was beautiful, God did amazing things tonight. I got to spend some time with my nephew, I think I've missed some opportunities over the past few years and now it's time to try to make things right. I'm not real sure how that's going to happen but it's time.

Saturday Morning

I love Saturday morning at the dog park. It reminds me of living in Orange County and a lot of life hadn't happened yet.

Old West

Some days i like to just get a golf cart and go for a ride around work.

Soft Serve

A friend of mine speaks of putting her mouth under a soft serve dispenser. That would be the ultimate comfort food.

Love The Pool

My back yard is great, even when not in the pool it's relaxing and peaceful.  Sometimes there is wildlife: bears, raccoons, rattlesnakes, collies and Bassett hounds.

Last Swim

We got a lady splash in before the end of summer, school starts tomorrow. We are in Southern California so we will likely get user of the pool for another month or two.

Labor Day Ride

My friend Sean and I went for an early ride today. It was a new place for me with a nice combination of fire road and single track trail. A loop with uphill fir the first half and a fun downhill on the way back. The view at the top was spectacular up above the smog.
